Canceling Appointments

To remove an appointment from your schedule to open up the time for someone else to book with you, you will need to mark the appointment as "Cancelled". In order to do this navigate to the appointment screen from either your Main → My Calendar or List → Open Appointments view. When you are on the appointment screen, scroll to the bottom to find the "Cancel Appointment" button:

 

Once you press the Cancel Appointment button, you'll be prompted with whether you want to send the cancellation email out to the client or the staff person regarding the change of the appointment's status from "Open" to "Cancelled":

 

If you select that you want to send a cancellation email to the client, you'll be able to edit the email before it gets sent out:

Please note: editing the email on send is only available in our Professional and Business plans. It is not available on our Free plan.
